John Hardin
Managing Director
John established Hardin and Associates in 1984, having previously been in the Australian Trade Commissioner Service. John has provided business and export development services and achieved practical outcomes for a large number of companies and government agencies throughout ASEAN, China, Australia and the Pacific Islands. He has conducted social compliance audits in numerous countries in S.E. Asia, China, the Pacific Islands, Australia and New Zealand.
John has also undertaken private sector development projects for many donor organisations including the International Finance Corporation, the Asian Development Bank and the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Between 2008 and 2013 John was the Director of the Australian Government Funded Enterprise Challenge Fund.
Carol Gordon
Director
Carol has a 30 year career in travel and tourism management and marketing, business administration and market research. She has worked with numerous individual businesses, government agencies and regional organisations in the Pacific Islands and Australia and was a founding director of one of Australia’s best known Pacific Island wholesale travel companies.
Over the past 10 years Carol has been involved in social compliance audit projects in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
Her well-developed communication, problem solving and analytical skills and her input have resulted in positive commercial outcomes for the organizations she has worked with and the implementation of successful development agency funded tourism strategies.
Carol has a certificate IV in Work Health & Safety and is SA 8000 Social Systems Lead Auditor and WRAP lead auditor trained and has undertaken full system compliance audits in various countries.
